The lovely sweater-dress by Bosie, from GoS. I know there's a stompy boots version of a dress like this (I think it has longs sleeves, though?) but for once I actually preferred to have heels. I was going to make this with maryjaynes/wedges but I thought it might ruin the elegance of the mesh.. I may do it anyway, and I'm going to try it with some flats, too.

The original mesh didn't have morphs, so I made some:

and I edited the shape a bit too, to make it a little more flattering:

The original comes in green, black, and white. download them here.

I made "Navy" and "Rouge" recolors, which I've previewed above, and my mesh will replace the original.

Download the fixed mesh and two recolors
sims file share download

I know it's not much, but I'm working on other projects, and school is pretty tight so just hang in there. ;D

Have a Nice Day!
And happy birthday to everyone who's having birthdays!

Goodness, you've been quite active lately :D

I've downloaded everything you've posted recently... and it's amazing what a little shape editing can do to a mesh. I love your recolors, they're nice and rich.

I hope to keep it that way! I've improved my time-management skills, so I have a pinch more free time. ;D

I agree, I was doing a big liana sims mesh-edit project before I had to wipe my harddrive, and I was fixing those waists that are too thin, and it really made such a difference. Thank you, very much!

I made a stompy boots version of it. It was on GOS first, then UYS. My UYS creations are currently down though so I can upload improved files, one of which being morphs added to that particular mesh.

I thought I saw it on GoS, but I wasn't sure. Does your original version have morphs? And, what do you think of these morphs, are they alright?

Morphs! And I really like what you did to the waist, the original looked a bit too 'baggy' for me. Thanks!

Date: March 13th, 2010 02:19 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] needlecream.livejournal.com
The morphs were fun to make for this, the only ricky part was trying not to mess up the pockets. ;D
I never used the original because it was too baggy, in my opinion, I'm glad I can use it now. :]

Also, are you still interested in the sexyfeet-castway meshes? I was able to recover the files if you want me to start working on them?

I will do that, and that version will also have morphs. I think maryjaynes will look nice, and maybe if I can find some nice black flats.

Thank you! I completely agree, It's really nice to know how to mesh because I can fix all of these little flaws, I just don't like to upload all of them because sometimes the fixes are really minor. Morphs are great, I mostly like preg morphs, I think pregnant sims are too cute. ;D

Hello needlecream, this is my first comment!!

I love all your creations, especially your skins! So...
Would you mind a little request?

There are some gorgeous Enayla supernaturals (and my favourite natural) you haven´t edited so far. Would that be possible? I don´t want to bother you...

Thank for your great work!!!

If course I don't mind the request, can you just tell me which ones you want to edit?
and, check out these:

Thanks for the nice link, but I already have them (I´m a big Enayla fan!)

And these are the skins:

I LOVE Pixie Game, it´s my favorite natural skin ever! (Have you done Pixie Breeze?)

the Pixie colors.(Nightfall is already done in the link you gave me)

Hope you´ll do some of them!!
I love your edits, especially Pixie Warmth (THANKS!)!
Good you don´t mind requests ;)

Thanks for the links. IF you'd like, Azaya did an edit of pixie galaxies here:
http://sixtylilies.livejournal.com/22197.html

So, to sum up you want:
-Pixie Game
-Pixie Breeze (I don't know if I've done it, and even if I have I'll do it BETTER!)
-Pixie Serpent
-pixie galaxies, unless Azaya's edit is what you wanted (I use that one myself)
-And all the pixie colors except nightfall

right?

I think I'll have fun doing these, I like your choices. I remember almost doing all of them, then deciding no one would need them but here I stand corrected. ;D
I hope you like what I do to them!

Date: March 24th, 2010 03:19 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Yes, that would be great (also Pixie Galaxies)!
And could you genetise a set of jesstheex? I only play with genetised skins, even if they´re supernatural!
I´ll post a link if you want to do that for me!

*bows down* Not worthy. Not worthy.

Date: March 25th, 2010 06:10 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] needlecream.livejournal.com
You can learn to geneticize skins yourself:
http://rikkulidea.livejournal.com/23079.html

it's really really easy, and that way you can geneticize any skins you want without having to ask people and wait for them to send it back to you. And you can pick the genetics yourself, if you do it yourself. Sometimes I download geneticized skins, but they way they're geneticized doesn't fit my game, so I change them to be the way I like them.

Are you sure you want me to do pixie galaxies, you didn't like Azaya's edit?

Date: March 26th, 2010 08:26 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I don´t have SimPe...
Hm...

Azayas Pixie Galaxies is wonderful, but I´d love to see your version! ;)

And I found something interesting:

http://gwens-sims2-family.npage.de/oeoblend_s5_nondefaultsalienskintone_92068386.html

I think it´s a blend of Pixie Serpent.

I was wondering if you could tell me how to add a pregnancy morph to a mesh? There are so many meshes I like but they don't have the morph, and I would like to learn how to add one to a mesh.

Date: April 15th, 2010 01:13 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] needlecream.livejournal.com
this tutorial is how I learned:

and this is another good one:
http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=14267.0

If you link me to the meshes, I'd be happy to add morphs to them. It doesn't take long, unless the mesh has a lot of alpha layers.

I was hoping to you add morphs to this dress. (The black one in the preview pic) I seem to be using this mesh a lot lately, especially in my legacy. I hope it's not too much trouble.

Date: April 15th, 2010 06:07 pm (UTC)

I'll get to it as soon as I can. It looks like there's an alpha there, but I might be able to manage it. :]
