Thank you guys so much for all of your comments on the WIP post for these! I'll reply to those right after I'm done posting this. cumonroxy had the idea that I should add some sort of design on these, so I sort of went.. crazy. All of these are made up of raw stock images or hand painting or a mix of the two, I spent quite a while making each one.
Please see my WIP post for more previews/downloads and some explanations. The mesh does not have morphs, and looks best with higher-waisted bottoms (rather than untucked ones) but doesn't necessarily look bad with untucked bottoms, you'll just be able to see the undershirt texture peeking out from underneath the hood texture.
note: there may be some clipping shown in bodyshop with the undershirt showing up on the shoulders, but this is not the case in game! There is very very minimal clipping in game, only when the sims shove their shoulders back very far, but it's nothing serious. Sims can even jump on the couch without clipping.
I only did three solid color versions because I spent all my energy on the designed versions.
But you can always DOWNLOAD MY .PSD and make your own solid/patterned versions!
DOWNLOAD mesh, recolors, swatches, and previews included!

Did you experience that and is it totally fine to ignore as in-game its not an issue?

Date: March 19th, 2011 05:30 am (UTC)You can totally ignore that, it will not show up in game! I have tested these extensively with crazy animations (couch jumping) and there is very minimal clipping only in actions that shove the shoulders back really far, nothing to be worried about.
In my bodyshop I set it up so that it displays my sims with arms down straight, so that's why I wouldn't have noticed the clipping in your case. If it makes you feel better just F6 and the arms will go up?
