WIP: Maxis retextures

Wow, posting two days in a row. That's crazy. Well, I'm working on some maxis retextures. Originally for personal use, but if they come out well I will share them? So far I am just doing some dressers from OFB.


I need to fix the handles for the one on the left, and for the one on the right I need to fix the nob and make the two doors look more seperated.

I really like how the one on the left turned out! But the one on the right I think needs help, probably a different texture entirely.

I actually have lots of pictures I've been taking of my game and of houses I've decorated, but I don't want to spam you guys all at once so I'll try to spread it out. I just want to get things done before I go back to school, because I know I'll be really busy then.

Oh I really like the one on the left! I agree about the texture on the right one. It looks nice but not quite right? In any case, I think these would be a welcome relief from the original, non-matching textures. :)

Someone on tumblr told me that they loved it that one (the staircase-looking one), so I actually might keep it and just do two versions. It is growing on me though, and I think it will look spiffy with some recolors.

I think the staircasey one looks sort of like it's made from chipboard, you know, when the wood's all mushed up and put into a shape. Don't get me wrong though, I still very much like it along with the other three.

Yes, I can see it fitting in very nicely with those pieces! The texture pretty much matches the little drawer thing.

I adore the top right dresser! The textures just seem to fit that older style of dresser! And it looks perfect!
